Micro Needling

With SkinPen

Skin and Collagen regeneration

The Safest and most advanced Miconeedling

SkinPen creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective remodelling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact.

Suitable for the treatment of

Fine lines and wrinkles

Uneven skin tone / texture

Pigmentation due to sun damage or ageing

Dull skin

Scarring from acne or chicken pox

The SkinPen system is considered a highly beneficial, safe and natural choice for the resolution of various skin concerns, involving no heat, toxins, or chemicals to remove layers of the skin.

As the only FDA and BSI approved microneedling device available today, SkinPen is unlike any other devices in its offering of the next generation of microneedling.

With all the benefits of disposable microneedling pen systems, SkinPen’s ‘ingress protection’ prevents fluids from passing through the cartridge into the pen. This makes the system both contamination and risk free.

SkinPen is suitable for all skin types, and can effectively treat:

Fine lines and wrinkles

Uneven skin tone / texture

Pigmentation due to sun damage or ageing

Dull skin

Scarring from acne or chicken pox

SkinPen is used to perform microneedling. This process is also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy. It uses small needles to cause tiny punctures in the skin. These tiny points of contact encourage the body to create a wound-healing response, which renews the skin cells. As your skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumping effect. It can also help tackle other skin damage such as scarring, dark marks, sun damage and ageing.

Following the application of a topical anaesthetic approximately 30 minutes prior to treatment, the medical-grade microneedling tool is applied to targeted areas of the face or body.

The treatment is generally described as mildly uncomfortable at most, due to the nature of the procedure – and is considered to be more comfortable than many other micro-needling treatments due to the SkinPen’s high-speed needle motor for swift skin penetration.

SkinPen is regarded as a highly efficient treatment option, due to the minimal downtime and side-effects. Post-procedure, many clients may experience temporary redness and skin sensitivity similar to that of a mild sunburn for up to 72 hours. However, you may resume your normal everyday activities immediately after treatment.

Following the application of a topical anaesthetic approximately 30 minutes prior to treatment, the medical-grade microneedling tool is applied to targeted areas of the face or body.

These tiny punctures – or ‘micro-injuries’ – stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal wounds, encouraging the production of collagen and healthy new tissue – minimising cellular damage and change to the structure of the skin.

Skin: SkinPen can be used to improve the appearance of:

Fine lines and wrinkles

Stretch marks

Acne scars

It can be used on many different body parts, including:

Face + neck

Décolletage

Arms

Hands

Legs

Abdomen

Back.

SkinPen needles adjust to different lengths, allowing your SkinPen provider to customize your procedure based on skin’s thickness and your specific needs.

There are minimal side effects and downtime following a SkinPen procedure. Slight swelling and redness/pinkness in the area (like that from a mild sunburn) usually last only two to four days, so you can return to work or social activities quickly. SkinPen has minimal risk of scarring or infections.

• Details about the procedure, likely outcomes and costs.

• Going through your past medical history, to obtain a thorough understanding of your needs and confirm your suitability for treatment.
