Radiofrequency treatments improve:

Photo and sun damaged skin

Wrinkles

Active acne

Acne scarring

Stretch marks

RF energy heats deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalise collagen, improving skin complexion and texture. Using Fractora the selected pins create immediate ablation which triggers healing and new collagen and elastin formation. Compared with other RF treatments like CO2 laser the downtime is minimal and you will see noticeable results after 2 weeks, improving for 3 months, lasting up to 2 years.

The collagen stimulation and textural improvement seen following Radiofrequency prove it is an effective skin tightening treatment.

Forma treatment is a bipolar skin surface, temperature controlled radiofrequency skin tightening treatment to stimulate collagen and tighten skin. Courses of 4,6 or more are recommended depending on the laxity of your skin and the age of the patient being treated.

Fractora takes radiofrequency skin tightening a step further. The treatment uses micro-needles (called pins) to send the radiofrequency deeper into the skin. The micro-needles improve the texture of your skin and the radiofrequency improves skin laxity. This is a wonderful treatment for textual skin improvements. There is an instant tightening effect which continues to improve for up to 3 months after treatment.

Additional treatments to tighten skin, rehydrate and improve skin laxity are suitable for some patients.

Depending on your Fractora treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-6 sessions

The benefit of Fractora’s colour blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to receive treatment.

Fractionated RF energy found in Fractora is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to resurface and restore the skin, providing exceptional results with almost no patient downtime.

What is the benefit of RF energy?

Known as the “lunchtime facial”, HydraFacial has no downtime and you can return to normal activities straight away.

You will see results immediately, with the outcome becoming progressively better after each treatment.*

Yes, Fractora can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments. Fractora can also be combined with additional energy treatments or injectables to achieve a more extensive full face result, called a FracTotal Facial.

Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters

First, the skin is thoroughly cleansed with antiseptic.

Some areas may not need anaesthetic at all. However, if needed, topical anaesthetic is first applied and left to numb the skin for 20-30 minutes. A numbing injection can be given to numb the area further, although this is rarely required.

The dermal filler is then injected into the desired area using a very fine, sterile needle or cannula. After injection, the filler is gently massaged.

Results can be seen immediately after dermal filler treatments and generally last up to 12 months or longer.

Fractora is effective in the treatment of the following areas:

Full face and Neck including

Crow’s feet

Under eye bags

Tear troughs

Cheeks

Nasolabial folds (nose to mouth Lines)

Peri-Oral lines (smokers’ lines)

local pain, skin redness (erythema), swelling (edema), damage to the natural skin texture (crust, blister, burn), change of skin pigmentation (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation), and scarring. Although these effects are rare and expected to be temporary, redness and swelling may last up to 3 weeks, and are part of a normal reaction to the treatment. Burns and resulting pigmentation change and scarring are rare and may happen in dark skin that is not taken care according to instructions. Tiny scabs appear on the face for a few days as part of a normal healing, however make-up may be applied as soon as 1-3 days after the session to mask them and residual redness. Any adverse reaction should be reported immediately

Use an antiseptic cream/ointment immediately following treatment and for the following 1-3 days, twice per day, until craters have closed and scabs have formed.

Avoid using make-up for 1-3 days post treatment, until scabs have formed.

Ensure make-up brushes, pads and other applicators are clean or preferably new.

Avoid touching treated area without first cleansing hands.

Ensure hands are clean before washing the treated area.

Use a sun cream/moisturiser daily with a high SPF (factor 30 or above) for at least 4 weeks post treatment, but ideally ongoing for best results.

Avoid extreme sun exposure or sunbeds for 3-4 weeks post treatment.

Moisturise the skin if itchy during healing and then continuing twice per day for up to 4 weeks post treatment.
